Hess Wins 2018 Platts Global Energy Award for ‘Remarkable Execution Skills’ on Stampede Project

Hess won the 2018 Platts Global Energy Award for Construction Project of the Year for its Stampede project, a deepwater oil and gas development in the Gulf of Mexico. Judges said the project showcased the company’s “remarkable execution skills” and described Stampede as a “sound investment” that positions Hess for continued success.

Hess Announces 10th Discovery and Increased Stabroek Block Resource Estimate Offshore Guyana

Hess announced a tenth discovery offshore Guyana at the Pluma-1 well on the Stabroek Block. As a result of this new discovery and further evaluation of previous discoveries, the estimate of discovered recoverable resources for the Stabroek Block has been increased to more than 5 billion barrels of oil equivalent, up from the previous estimate of more than 4 billion barrels of oil equivalent announced in July 2018.

Hess Donates Toy Trucks to Elementary Schools in North Dakota

Hess announced today that it will donate Hess Toy Truck and STEM education kits to every elementary school in North Dakota, totaling more than 8,000 trucks in all. "These fun tools promise to spark innovation across our education system and provide North Dakota students with inspiration and excitement for learning in STEM education,” said Lieutenant Governor Brent Sanford.
